Empowering Through Justice. Equipping Through Legacy.

Built from Grief. Carried by Legacy. Designed for Justice.

WWX17: A Movement Born from Memory, Powered by Community.

The WayWesX17 Homeless Project was founded by a mother and father who chose transmission over silence—transforming the grief of losing their sons, Waymond Patrick Brown II and Wesley Pearce Brown, into a living movement for social change.

Rather than being buried by sorrow, they built a Blueprint: one that holds grief, restores dignity, and equips others to carry it forward. That legacy is not only honored—it is actively carried by their remaining living son, Kristopher Xavier Brown, whose life and presence continue to shape the movement’s mission and memory.

WWX17 is a 501(c)(3) volunteer-powered movement, rooted in Fort Worth and sustained by community. We believe collaboration is not optional—it’s sacred. Every act of packing, donating, and distributing survival kits is a thread in the legacy we steward.

We welcome:

• Volunteers, co-workers, and neighbors

• High school basketball teams and college students

• Churches, agencies, and local leaders

• Families, friends, and movement partners

Together, we design systems that honor memory and build justice.

Together, we create a world where homelessness is no longer a burden—but a grief held, a need met, and a legacy carried.
